![]() This does mean that healing will have to come from the HQ or a Reinforce Point, whilst accuracy and damage debuffs will come from making use of cover. ![]() Accuracy and Penetration are pushed to the limit whilst weapon cooldown and reload times are shortened, allowing you to fire your rifles faster and hit with greater precision. The build is all out Offensive, which really augments the range and power of the G43 rifle. This build is helpful for vanilla Panzer Grenadiers and Panzer Elite infantry in general as it provides a solid foundation of veterancy. I consider this the 'standard Infantry' build as the strength of this build lies in the fact that it makes use of the extra bonus at Defensive Vet 3, whilst providing the punch that you'd expect from a vetted infantry squad. Upon referring to the 'table' you'll notice bonus multipliers remain unchanged per veterancy level, but interestingly Defense level 3 includes an extra bonus of 5% reduced received accuracy along with normal increments. The Infantry 'table' accounts for all Panzer Elite infantry units, including the doctrine units such as Fallschimjager and the Luftwaffe squad. The table's bonuses differ from one another, so remember that one build for infantry will not give the same augments for vehicles. The Panzer Elite have two veterancy 'tables', if you will - One for Infantry and the other for Vehicles. What I'll be focusing on with this guide is veterancy builds for the Panzer Elite what bonuses are given at certain veterancy levels, and the reason why a unit can benefit from a particular order of choices. For the lowdown on the mechanics of how Panzer Elite veterancy works, this guide by YurtleTheTurtle will get you up to speed.īecause you are given a choice of either an Offensive or Defensive bonus upon a PE unit gaining a level of veterancy, this may be daunting for those players who are accustomed to units from other factions getting predetermined bonuses upon leveling up. ![]() Everything else is swap-outs of the base game files. The Panzer Elite have a very unique veterancy system when compared to the other factions, that allows the player to customize what veterancy bonuses a unit receives. The Terror Doctrine banner and Thompson SMG icon are not my own work and to my knowledge are already implemented in many existing skinpacks for Company of Heroes, I do not know their original sources. The team color removal mod was made by the user 'Lethal Dosage' on the now defunct RelicNews forum, the files that remove the vehicle decals in this mod are just a repackaged part of that mod. I do not know for sure if this will have any issues with online play. This mod is primarily for anyone that enjoys the vanilla unit skins but dislikes the above mentioned visual inconsistencies or the vanilla team color shades. If the 'Show Player Color' option is turned on, the team colors will remain mostly identical to vanilla versions. The yellow color for allies has also been changed to try and achieve the same style of a more muted and darker shade that I believe the blue and red have. The red team color was swapped as well for a slightly darker shade, but the difference is fairly negligible. The team color changes have swapped out the rather ugly light blue for a darker shade that looks better across the board. Place the modded WW2Art.sga and WW2Data.sga in the Archives folder and replace the vanilla versions (Recommended that you make backups of the vanilla files first) Navigate to your Company of Heroes main folder>WW2>Archives Structures are unchanged (This includes the British command trucks, which are considered structures) because I was unfortunately unable to find a complete and non-buggy way of removing them from structures. All team color markings removed from all factions vehicles. ![]() Improvements to various vehicle UI icons, mostly ToV units, to make them more consistent with the quality of other vehicle UI icons. ![]() Minor tweaks to the icon and portraits of the Panzer Elite Tank Buster and Assault Grenadier units. Changed the Panzer Elite Henschel Hs 129 attack ability icon. Swapped the Panzer Elite Jagdpanther call-in icon with a better looking icon that appeared to be unused in-game but existed in the files. Rangers now have a proper Thompson SMG icon rather than the StG 44 icon for the rare event that they take major casualties and they lose their bazooka icon. The King Tiger call-in ability is actually a King Tiger icon rather than the old Tiger Ace as well. Terror Doctrine banner now portrays the King Tiger. This small mod is set of minor tweaks to the vanilla visuals of Company of Heroes, mainly inconsistent UI elements or just little things that I thought looked better, and a tweak to team colors. ![]()
